Rodrigo Ímaz 

(México, 1982) 

 

Studied Visual Arts at the National School of Arts (UNAM) in Mexico and his Master´s in Artistic Production at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain (UPV), graduating both with honors. Film studies at CUEC (UNAM). He received a grant from National Fund for Culture and the Arts for Study Abroad (FONCA 2008) and twice with the grant Residency Program (FONCA 2010 y 2013). Grant from the JUMEX Foundation for postgraduate studies (2009). He received Honorable Mention in the Youth Award (INJUVE 2011). Development Grant from the Film Fund for the documentary project Juan Perros (IMCINE 2014). Artist in residency: International Studio and Curatorial Program  ISCP in New York (2010), Art Omi New York (2013), Flux Factory New York (2014) and Residency Unlimited New York (2014), Art Cube Artist Studios Jerusalém, Israel (2017).
